Why I’m Hosting…I’ve had a lot of people ask me why I’m hosting this show, so to answer that question…I’m hosting it simply because it means something to me and most importantly I feel like it will make me a better person.  And really, who doesn’t want to become a better person?

I’ve come to realize after going through my own everyday experiences there’s a lot that can be learned from them, as well as from other people’s situations, that can make life “more simple”.  I don’t think it will ever be “easy”, but if it could be a little less complicated it would be improvement.  Don’t you think?

By sharing our experiences with each other we can see how other people handle things and have improved their lives, then decide what, if anything, we can take from them and apply to our own lives.

So then, The Question Becomes…

What are you currently doing to improve any areas of your life? And what have you found that works to ease the hassles of your everyday life?

About Me

I’m 30 and I grew up in a small town in north Florida.  After graduating from high school I attended two local community colleges before moving to Gainesville, Fl where I graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 with a degree in Public Relations.

After college I began doing healthcare marketing and public relations for a rural hospital in Florida.  I’m currently still doing contract work for them from Texas…gotta love the Internet!! In 2004 I started a “side business” doing marketing and graphic design.  After two years of business I finally accepted the fact that it wasn’t where my heart was, and that I needed to move on.  So, I took some time to try to find my passions and purpose in life, and here I am, at this place in my life I never could have imagine I’d be and loving it more than I would have ever thought possible.

I’m single with no children. Actually, I take that back, I have three sons…Carson, Cobi and Kirby.  Carson is a four year-old chow and lab mix. I joke that he’s one lifetime away from being human, but I’m beginning to believe it’s true!!  He’s great, but demands a lot of attention! His brothers Cobi and Kirby are cats and all three get along great.  I feel so blessed to have them…all rescues, not from the shelter, but almost dead living under a house (Carson), scurring down a highway after being attacked by something big (Cobi) and crying in the window of my apartment trying to get inside (Kirby).
